The price feels simply too high for what it offers, which includes no accessories on top of a $43 pcb, making it $10 for two simple plates and screws/standoffs. You could get more value and keyboard modding practice with a fuller kit.
First, the top and bottom plate assembly resonate a noticeably hollow sound.
Second, there are no feet separating this keyboard from the desk, making it rattle on hard surfaces and providing no angle. Personally I use a hard surface where I solder, making this inconvenient.
Third, the lack of stabilizers, even simple clip in ones, adding >$10 to the total.
All of these problems can be patched with additional material and effort: foam for the bottom, o rings for the screws, sticker rubber feet, and the $10 extra stabs. Once modded the board works as a south facing switch tester with no case to mute sound. However this kit is too bare-bones and you could experiment more with a pre-built or an extra solder pcb for another keyboard.
