I thought I was going to have to give up backpacking because sleeping in a tent on a sleep pad was allowing me to do NO sleeping because of the pain it caused my hips. I had read many posts and articles saying that hammocks really helped with that so I bought the Henessey Jungle Expedition Zip and took it backpacking for the first time this weekend. It’s a game changer!! I slept comfortably and warmer than I do in my tent. It’s also great not to have to crawl out of a tent when you’re not a young ‘un any more (62 years and going strong 💪). Also, it was great just to sit and relax in it. I’m absolutely sold! It’s easy to hang and the snakeskins are a must have.

Love my 3rd Hennessy Hammock
This is my 3rd Hennessy hammock. WHY so many, you may ask? My kids and grandkids love them so much I just give it to them and order another. I've been in rain, cold, heat, windy, and perfect weather conditions over the years. All times the hammock kept me bug free, out of the elements and comfortable, well except for the heat. Not much you can do about heat except stay on a shaded riverbank and pray for a breeze. Every morning I'm refreshed from a good night sleep and ready for another days adventures. I'm retired, 6 feet, 200 pounds. I had one extra-large Jungle model and found it was too large thus went back to regular. size. Great product and customer service.

Money well spent
I was nervous about spending so much on one piece of gear but I love this hammock, zero regrets. Super comfortable, built like a tank, very light, and crazy easy to set up. Tents are for chumps! I will never sleep on the cold hard ground again.
