Vintage Raleigh replacement
My 1954 Raleigh Sports 3 speed was taking more maintenance time than riding. The Public V7i is a great replacement for the simple and upright riding I enjoy. I was surprised and delighted by the 7 speed thinking 3 was enough. I use a range of 4 or 5 gears for my flat, coastal jaunts of 6 to 10 miles. The ride is nimble and responsive. I do wish Public would provide more frame geometry details. Sight unseen I was concerned the M/L frame was too short. However the generous seat post took care of that. I did install an adjustable stem to keep the bars closer. I look forward to many fun miles over the years.
