I’m gonna start by saying the Stuart Q follow me trolley is brilliant. However, the downside is the cost for the replacement parts and extras just racks up My battery lasted seven years so I can’t really complain however, when you buy a new battery, especially the smart batteries there should come with some explanation on how to check your battery on the app because I had to email customer service to find out how. I’ve given this four stars simply because it’s just low small things but other than that it is a good trolley. It’s expensive but it is one of these. You don’t have to buy or other other options.

Max battery better than the standard one, but won’t last 36 holes

I was upgraded to the max battery after I had concerns about the capacity of the standard one, which only had about 15% residual charge after 18 holes with the Q Follow. I was very grateful for the upgrade, now the Q Follow comfortably lasts for 18 holes with about 40% remaining capacity. So, it’s absolutely fine if you only want to play 18 holes, which I do most of the time. 36 holes would be out of the question though, it wouldn’t come close to lasting, hence the 3 stars. I played a society day a couple of weeks ago, 12 holes in the morning and 18 in the afternoon, and couldn’t risk using the Q Follow as I’m pretty certain it would have drained the battery before I finished. I made the horrible mistake of not charging it fully before I went out a few weeks ago. It was only 65% charged when I went out on a hilly course, battery failed on the 17th hole, and boy this is a brute to push up a hill in freewheel mode! Very heavy. In short - the max battery is great for 18 holes, but you’d be cutting it close trying to get 27 out of it. I think the Q Follow is a great trolley, I love the features, but the battery capacity is the weak link in the chain.

Teething battery problem-fixed immediately

I had a minor problem with my battery which was dealt with without any fuss and very competently. In fact their customer service was exemplary and they upgraded my replacement voluntarily as a gesture of goodwill. With this level of service I can only recommend Stewart golf glowingly.
