I really loved the concept of this product and was excited to work on it with my son. Unfortunately, we found the instructions to be unclear and difficult to follow. Although it’s labeled as suitable for ages 12 and up, even as an adult I found the steps confusing.
As a result, my son glued some pieces in the wrong places, and when we tried to correct the mistake, the base boards split and the project was ultimately unusable.
I think this product would benefit greatly from a more detailed, step-by-step instruction guide with clear pictures—similar to LEGO instructions—which would make the building process much more intuitive and enjoyable.

The Swiss ski chalet is a fun project! I bought it for myself (I’m 62) after buying the log cabin bird house kit. I really like the detailed instructions, they make sense and give you practical tips for assembly. I’m happy to support a local Canadian company and really appreciate instructions that make sense. I’d highly recommend this for kids or adults!
