ZC-10 Zero Clearance Insert

Must have.

Purchase for a new narrow curf blade. Love the addition of the nylon screws in the edge. Wish my older inserts had these. Once adjusted they stabilize the insert so that there is no movement.

Zero clearance-zero splintering

I received the zero clearance insert and cut the slot after removing the riving knife. Perfect cut, no clearance either side! Cutting veneer plywood reveals a splinter free nearly sanded edge. I do wish they would design one with replaceable slot, everything wears and it is an expensive part. A beautiful, well made part, which looks great with the red anodized face in my gold coated table.

It is the little things that make it great.

I know it is “just a table saw insert” but it is the little things that make Harvey tools different. Most ZC inserts are plastic and don’t quite fit right. This is dead on. One tip, a piece of emery cloth tucked in on the left for the initial plunge, then move to the right size and repeat the plunge. This will stop the “singing”. Then use the piece to do a quick cleanup of the burrs.
