VASTLY superior to INPA/NCS-Expert

I did not have any troubles obtaining, downloading, installing OR using this software. I will say though: for the pre-facelift E39 (US-spec), you still need to use a jumper for the underhood round diagnostic port... without this installed the software was unable to access the canbus/modules/ecu. I made my own from a junkyard diagnostic port cover/plug (look it up, it's pretty common). *This could be made a LOT clearer on the sales site but I was already aware of it so it wasn't a problem. This enabled me to replace the LCM (Light Control Module) to get my Low-Cluster (99 & 00 base model 528i) speedo/tach back lighting to work again, which required me to set the original car's mileage in the LCM which in turn caused the odometer tamper-dot to extinguish. Works great, no issues at all

The software worked on my Win 11 Pro laptop as well as an old XP laptop I had laying around. Was able to connect to my BMW and see all the info, fault codes, etc.
