Works well but material us pilling

I use a standing desk, but also have an office chair and spend apx 9 hrs a day at the desk. I love the sturdiness of this “rug” when I am standing or using the chair, exactly what I needed to protect the existing carpet. However, the rug is already pilling and doesn’t look so great after a month of use. Glad I purchased a simple pattern, because the pilling has really changed the look of the rug.

Beluga Chair Mat

We love this mat- we bought one to see if it would be thinck enough for our wide plank pine floors (lots of bumps for the rolling chairs!) and we love it. We will be ordering more for the rest of the office!

Great for carpet

I was looking for a rug-like office chair floor mat for a long time, wanting something less slippery than the classic plastic ones where you end up drifting around unintentionally. This solves for that perfectly with a feel similar to the industrial carpet in most office buildings, and it works great on top of my thicker basement carpet. Only minor negative is that my wheels sometimes get stuck on the seam in the middle, but that's expeced/understandable and I appreciate that it folds in half.
