Evolution Kimono - White

A stellar gi

I’m a BJJ black belt who has been training for 16 years. During that time, I’ve worn nearly every gi you can imagine. After only two training sessions in my new Vanguard gi, I’m confident saying it’s one of my favorites. The attention to functional details, such as eliminating the accursed rope-through-the-waist-band tie off in the pants, shows this product came from the mind of an apparel designer, not just someone who wanted to buy gis in bulk and throw some logos on them. Light, true-to-size, comfortable, and aesthetically slick, I’d recommend it to anyone.

Super Clean Gi

Stumbled upon Vanguard by accident while looking for a new comp gi and am stoked! I really dig the Evolution kimono. My only issue is the thigh can be a bit tight if you have athletic legs like I do. Otherwise the fit is great for competitions. I’m 5’10 180ish and wear an A2.

Just Right

Im a 40 y/o white belt and besides the academy kimono I purchased, this is the first nice gi I've had. (I have another one that was given to me). What a difference getting the right size makes and you'll never want another set of pants after using Vanguard Kimonos.
