The Garmin installation proceeded smoothly. The device appears sturdy, though its performance in saltwater remains to be seen. Unpacking and securing the lock required roughly three minutes. The matching key option is valuable because I already own one of their trolling motor locks.

Peace of mind
Fit perfectly on my Solix. Gives me peace of mind knowing that it is at least safe from a random thief. I can go into the gas station or restaurant or bait shop and not have to worry about some rube doing a 60 second theft. Great product!
