ColorLab for Procreate

Life changing!

As I didn't have the space or time to keep my paper, ink, pens, and brushes constantly at hand, my hobby gradually fell by the wayside. Being a professional musician, it struck me as practical to switch from stacks of paper to a digital setup. I bought a new iPad and an Apple Pencil, discovered Procreate, purchased ColorLab, and... a whole new world opened up for me. Everything I had wanted to learn as a child—but which had been beyond my reach and budget—now seemed possible. I’ve since devoted far more time to it than I originally intended, and my sheet music still hasn't been scanned, but I’m having a great time. Learned a lot in a very short time and still learning.

Beautiful authentic approach to halftone effects

I love these brushes, as they've helped me deliver a true pulp comic feel in my art. If you love recreating the vibe of old 4-color printing in your digital art, look no further. The dot halftone drew me in initially (no pun intended!), but the line halftone has quickly captured my imagination as well. I especially appreciate the included color chart. Incredibly useful!
