The lifting mechanism is unequaled. I absolutely would choose BenchBud again. That said, your product did not meet all of my desires. Specifically I did not like that I had to choose between rock-steady stability or mobility. So I made an addition to the base so I could have both -- see my photos. Also, I wanted a top that was deeper than 30 inches. That's another reason I made the base wider, and reinforced the underside of the top.
