Comparing the two physical options side by side in the actual location instead of in a store or online made all the difference. Selecting the matte finish became a no-brainer with actual samples laid out in out renovated kitchen. Downside is the cost and the inability to receive a full or partial credit against the countertop(s) eventually purchased.
