Mercedes-Benz needed a step

I recently purchased a van as part of my transportation company and needed a side doorstep. So searching around the Internet, as well as talking to the local Mercedes dealership, I ran across this company. I looked online and they offer two different links with two different nomenclatures for weight-bearing and such. I reached out to my local audio and accessory company and have them take a look at it online as well as look at the install instructions. They gave me the nod that it was something within the scope of what they would be able to do so I went on and purchased the 47 inch and kit. I did have to call to make sure I was ordering the right kit as it could be explained a little bit better online. The item came in within a matter of days and I took it to my installation people and they after making a call to the distributor, figured it all out. I have not used it too much so far as it only been a couple weeks but so far it’s performing and looks great. I want to upload a couple pictures, but this platform does not have a place to do so.

A great step for older folks.

This is the deepest step I could find. It works great! It also gives our van more ground clearance than the narrow fixed running board we replaced.
