Extended Lip Strike

Just what we needed

During a current bathroom remodel, we had a thicker door trim installed. When our door was reinstalled, along with the hardware, the door latch was hitting and marking the newly painted trim. Unfortunately, when I mentioned this to the contractor, his response was "we're just going to leave it". That was not acceptable to me, so I researched and found Stone Harbor Hardware, and their extended lip strike plate. The order came quickly, I installed and it took care of the issue. You would think that a Design/Construction firm would take care of something like this. I'm just glad that I found it. Definitely recommend.

This item arrived quickly and installed completely problem-free. The finish matches perfectly with the door hardware. It prevents scuffs on the door trim. I would recommend!
