I have to say Maple is awesome they have a well thought out website lots of variety and my packages have come on time...now getting into the product. I must prefice this with im new to water borne products but have been in body work for 20+ years spraying solvents. I purchased as a carrier for some pearls and candy from createx ( i went with this line to do some side work at home without smelling up the place). It holds the candy and pearls well to spray in my air brush. Im having trouble finding a balance with the whole product line. Im painting larger items like motorcycle tanks and helmets,so it needs more then 2 light coats but if I spray past 3 coats with 15 - 20 minutes between coats it seems to get a wet almost gummyness for a long time. I am also struggling with some adhesion issues when I peel back my tapes if I go beyond the 2 light coats. ( im using 3m and fbs tapes. My work is prepped throughly with proper sanding, cleaning and adhesion promoter when needed.) My next project im going to adjust my coat times and see what happens.

Paint for the motorcycle

I have to say I’ve been using Kustom Cans metal flake created candy paint and the more I use them the more ideas I come with to continue to use the products. I have been doing a pictorial from start to finish and have been placing the Kustom Cans in a lot of the pictures where I have used them. I am getting a lot of people inquiring where to buy the products. Great products and equally great people to deal with. Mike Bloos
