Beautiful dress, not a great fitting experience

I traveled to the St Paul store to be fitted for this dress and tried on a size 10 that fit like a glove. After being measured the associate advised me to order a 14 based on measurements and that the try on dresses are stretched out. After receiving my dress it is at least 2 sizes too big and I have to pay $100+ in alterations to have it taken in. I’m disappointed that I could have avoided anything but the length being altered had I been advised differently.

Happy to find a dress that fits

I purchased the at-home try on before buying this dress. The others I tried on were not flattering for my body type, but this one was perfect for me. I'm very short, so I will need to have it altered in length and have the straps altered. It is so cute for the fall wedding I'm in and I'm pleased! All the bridesmaids in the wedding purchased from Kennedy Blue and everyone was able to find a dress that suits them!
