Alfalfa Hay

We recently, unexpectedly, got a 6 week old baby bunny. I never raised a baby before, but knew they needed alfalfa and went to the store and purchased some from a brand beginning with an "O. " This hay was very stemmy and Joey was so little he could only eat the smallest pieces and we ended up wasting a good bit of that hay. We ordered from Small Pet and received it fast along with the Timothy for the big bunnies. The Small Pet alfalfa is so much leafier and smells great. Joey has been pigging out and growing so much! Its also compacted so even though the box looks small (we got the 2 lbs) there is a lot in there. We will continue ordering it for him!

My girl loves her alfalfa hay! She immediately runs over when I put it in her feeder and munches away. The quality is really good. It's super green and fresh. I will definitely be getting all my hay here.

Great Service, Poor Quality

I was very excited with the prospect of supporting a small business but was very disappointed with the quality of the hay. The personalized treat packaging and letter was very heartwarming, but I do wish my buns were more partial to dry alfalfa because it is now wasted. I ended up having to purchase Kaytee hay again.
