New Kebne Jacket

I am a hunter and an enthusiastic user of Micklagaard clothing. Last summer, we had the opportunity to visit you in person during our holiday. What can I say? Everything is still lovingly handcrafted, with an absolutely stunning level of quality. I own the Hunting Anorak, the Hamra trousers, and now, most recently, the Kebne jacket. Warm and Weighty!

This jacket is INCREDIBLE. There's so much that has gone into it's design and it's all so well thought out that I can't fault it, not really. It's almost much too heavy and warm for regular use and I will likely never even have to layer it but it does have the potential underneath for layering if you choose the appropriate size. The only TINY nitpicks I have is the zips could be a little bigger and the lining inside the sleeves is a little tight when you do want to layer a base layer or something underneath. I haven't tested the comfort with anything thicker than a merino base but I also can't imagine needing much more than that. Something to pay attention to if you do feel you'll need extra layers though.

finest jacket I could have ever bought

I received my Kebne jacket today and my observations are as follows. The front fastening zip could be bigger, I have some slight problems with the zip being small and I would imagine using gloves would be almost impossible, A YKK would be better. The front fastening press studs (poppers) two more would suit me better so I may use the jacket without needing the zip. The Garment is heavy, but in a good way, it suggests Quality of materials and craftsmanship, I don't think I will use the hood but it's there if needed. This whole jacket oozes Quality, I have had many jackets and being an EX-military man I know what will work and what won't, I have not worn it in anger yet as it is summer right now and wearing it would be a death sentence, it is that warm. I know that I am going to be the envy of my village from those with all their fashion brands but those who know, know. I am over the moon with my New jacket and know whole heartedly that I could not have bought a better winter/outdoor coat. At any price, it will outlive me. Thank you Micklagard.
