Best anorak I have ever seen in real life

Thrilled with my made-to-measure Anorak Abisko 2! It’s quiet when I move and the best quality I’ve ever owned. The fabric feels durable, and if something eventually wears out, it lends itself nicely to repairs. Visible stitches and patches may even enhance its charm, which, besides its quietness, is another advantage over typical synthetic outerwear. Micklagård’s service was great!

Just right

This anorak has just become my go to outer layer. Warm and wind proof. Great for days on the hills. I try to wear as little as possible underneath. Either a T-shirt or mesh base layer. This for me is good down to zero degrees C and up to 10mph wind speed. Any colder I’d add another thin layer. It will hold back a lot of rain. It will soak up a lot but it seems to stay in the jacket. I much prefer this material over gore type shells. Best way to dry is just to keep wearing it. Looking forward to seeing if it’s usable in warmer conditions. But based on my use to date I would highly recommend this anorak. I do own the hooded version as well. Which I’ll use in more extreme weather or if I know I’ll be standing around.
