Great size and good roots

First time we bought a bare root tree, it’s a learning process.

Received this tree as a bare root stick, straight trunk and good roots but no branches. Planted it hoping to see life. Two weeks after planting there are numerous signs of life, dozens of active buds and little leafs. Will be interesting to see how it develops into a full & productive tree, and in a few years hopefully we will have fruit. We had this kind of tree before and absolutely loved the pluots.
