COURG : Zero-Hour

A true tool watch for the modern age

Man i dont know where to begin this review. I initially tried to purchase the courg zero hour while deployed overseas. I was looking for a lightweight tool watch that could stand up to use in the field and needles to say the courg fit that bill very well with its 39mm titanium case, reliable Seiko NH35 movement, scratch resistant sapphire crystal, 200m wr, and elapsed time bezel. Unfortunately we ran into problems shipping it to my APO address overseas and eventually I opted to have Redux just send the watch to my home address in the states. Not only was Redux patient in trying to work with their shipping agency in figuring out how to get the watch to me, they also retroactively refunded me 15% as I qualified for the Valliant Alliance membership (which I was not aware of at the time of purchasing), and even included a couple of beautiful extra straps free of charge. That kind of customer service is pretty rare today to say the least, and is a true testament to the integrity of the company. Now regarding the actual product, what can I say, it does what its meant to do very well. The zero hour dial is very legible both day and night which is important in my type of work. The lume is quite nice, the crown threads very well into the case, and this watch has one of the better executed date apertures Ive seen in a long time. The case is very comfortable to wear and for a 39mm watch has great wrist presence - if you're on the edge because of the size I would say go for it. The straps are also really well made and very comfortable. Overall a great watch from a great company!

I like this watch

I look is very sleek and classic. No brand names on the face. Light weight and a good size, not to big or small. I got the leather band and it adds to the look. I did have an issue and had to send it back. Service and communication was good but slow.

Wish all of my autos were this accurate.

Most accurate automatic I’ve ever owned. By a long shot. Great watch!
