Star Wheel Hackamore - Pair

Starwheel hackamore was a perfect fit for my ottb mare. I didn't want to start switching up bits when she came off the track. Starwheel was suggested to me and it has been a blessing. Her mouth is so relaxed by using the starwheel and she has been respecting the least bit of pressure for the past 2 yrs of using it. I'm so thankful it was suggested to me. I only wish it had come with a noseband and chin strap.

Perfect hackamore rings

I had a filly that would not accept a bit. I built a hackamore bridle for her using these star wheels. It has been perfect. They give some gentle leverage but once you drop the rein there is no pressure. I have ridden her everywhere in this bridle and have her doing some more advanced training and I forget she doesn't have a bit. I've had a few occasions when I've had to take hold of her head but I actually like that while I have control but don't have the fear of hurting her mouth.
