Wool Sponges

Love the material until they get too felted

I purchased these sponges to replace my reusable cotton sponges, which were filled with polyester stuffing (I am a bit of an anti-plastic purist). I LOVE that they are made with 100% natural fibers--and climate-beneficial wool to boot. The sponge worked for a few weeks but then got too felted to continue using for dishes--it became hard and does not absorb water. My partner and I decided to switch back to the washable cotton sponges we were using before, as the short usable life of this sponge does not rationalize the cost for us right now. If you are on the fence, I recommend buying them and trying them out for yourself, as these wool sponges could be a perfect fit for a household that does less hot-water handwashing than we do. I am glad I tried these sponges for myself.

Great sponges

Love that they don’t smell after using. Great for washing dishes.
