The Marlborough bra is a perennial favorite of my custom clients since it provides such great support and shaping. One of the reasons I like it so much is that this style provides a great foundation for playing with different laces and prints for fun and variety.
The Marlborough is a pretty and supportive full frame underwire

Great pattern, even for newbies!
I am a long-time seamstress, but relatively inexperienced with clothing and garments. The Marlborough was my first real attempt at making a bra. I chose this pattern because the website FAQs suggested it when starting out.
I found the pattern to be very simple to follow and the sizing was very accurate for me. Only two suggestions for newbies like me:
1) It would be nice to have a tutorial or option for lining the bra for more discrete coverage, and:
2) Finding the right materials according to the pattern was a bit tricky. I could use more information about fabrics that can be substituted in, at least when making a muslin version.
Already trying to decide which pattern to get next!

I love it!
I made size 34 DDD. I didn’t change a thing and it fits perfect! That’s amazing! LOVE IT!!

Needs updating
Made a beautiful bra but learned after construction that the back band is 4" too small. Apparently it's a known issue but the pattern hasn't been fixed. Will likely bake again with diy back band adjustment.
