An excellent model of a unique prototype

This is the model that started it all for me. I'm reviewing it some considerable time after purchasing and this was my very first Accurascale purchase. At that time it felt like a leap of faith to make pre-order from a manufacturer I'd never heard of. When the model arrived, I loved the massive yellow box (a bit hard to hide!) which gives excellent protection. The model was a very significant step up from my existing class 37s in terms of detail, livery quality, weight, sound and smoothness of performance. In addition to that, the underfloor equipment is modelled on this unique class 97 variant, which was the reason why I purchased this version. As a result, I became a happy repeat customer.

Excellent model from Accurascale again.

This is a great model, runs superbly and simply knocks other manufacturers versions out of the park. Accurascale set the standards nowadays, and others need to try and keep up.
