Whew! Finally finished this one. It was more intricate than I had thought and took me a lot longer to finish up. It was also a labor of love and one of the more beautiful of the numbered paintings I had done. Not much to add except keep a number of fine tipped brushes handy and expect to improvise on some hard to follow areas. Some boundary lines were so faint that mistakes were inevitable for me. ......................... With the help of a magnifier lamp I feel like a jeweler working on a rare timepiece. The good news is that this is a ‘woodland scape’ and mistakes that are made will be more apt to blend. I counted around 20 different shades of green and an almost equal number of browns. The shimmering light mixed with dark are extraordinary. It will be a good piece of art I can use to meditate on and bring inner peace.

Very detailed painting - probably not for a beginner (it would be overwhelming). However, I have been enjoying the painting experience.
