Good qualities of stone but color misleading

I've ordered from PAD and PAS for many years and loved the variety of stones and I've not experienced any disappointment besides this stone I just felt the color that I got wasn't really what was shown on the website and I understand that there is differences and variety from the photos by a bit but I felt my stones I recived were just to dark/brown in my final completion of the ring I didn't feel like I could give it as it was a gift for a friend. Maybe just say at least for this specific color that it might it might come darker than expected!? Thank you for the opportunity for input have a good one
