Flipper™ - Foldable Winch Handle

A very useful tool. I must admit that at first we were worried that if it accidentally fell into the water, we’d have to say goodbye to it, but once I’d got used to it, that’s no longer a problem – it simply stays securely in the winch. It takes literally a moment to get the hang of it – it does sometimes tend to jam slightly when changing the operating range. I also get the impression that there’s a bit too much play in the joints. Compared to a standard winch, it gives a greater sense of power and confidence when hauling in the rope. Generally speaking, it’s helpful and useful for everyday use on the boat. A standard winch handle seems a bit old-fashioned in comparison... :)

we have 2 and love them. we just ordered the 2nd and weren't thinking about US import tariffs when ordering so that additional bill made the price significantly higher.

Very nice concept, cool to have access to the winch handles immediatly and all the time. Works great mostly, only one thing though, sometimes during heavy load the handle has a tendency of "closing" itself, unless you don't press hard downwards while turning the winsch. Would be great to be able to "lock" the handle (in an easy way...) when fully deployed. Hope you understand what I mean. Good work, thanks Alar
