Viking Bling

I'm still working out the neck cord. I want something more robust, more leather of one sort or another. It's great to wear it as my Viking bling and, next moment, put it to good use keeping my blades nicely finished.

What a treat!

Awesome piece! Makes a great team with the more all-arounder Wästikivi neck stone; the smooth jasper brings a razor sharp final hone. The size and shape feel great in hand. Taking my color and pattern request into account, they picked out a really cool one for me (although the dark colors make it a bit tricky to photograph; it's even prettier in person) and I'm delighted with it. For my tastes, it's a bit bulky for everyday wear, but it's not at all uncomfortable and will make a great addition to a renaissance faire or reenactment ensemble; I've also considered swapping the necklace for a shorter cord and hanging it from my belt, next to my knife. All in all I'm really glad I treated myself to this; it's the perfect marriage of form and function, and I couldn't be happier.

Amazing Sharpening Stone

I immediately used this stone and several knives. Both carbon steel and stainless steel. Both fixed blades & folding knives. All came away razor sharp. I am very pleased with this stone.
