Aluminum bat shift knob for E39
Looks great in the car and works great when driving. The knob this replaced was the same height as armrest so I could only use my thumb when shifting from 2nd and 4th. After a bit of searching it came down to the “little nicky” from another vendor or this. I licked the aluminum and this bat was available in both delrin and aluminum, while nicky only in delrin. Actually Garagistic gives you a lot of options on all their shifters. Aluminium or Delrin. Shift pattern or no pattern. Emblem or no emblem. I think they will even cut out a place for a coin and ship it if you already have a coin you want to use. The craftsmanship is great and it had an adapter to use the BMW oem click attachment. Their connecter is better in a way. It screws into the shifter except for the last 5 or 6 threads. Then you click it on like the oem shifter and the remaining threads are a compression fitting so its secured 2 ways. The adapter is plastic though so that could be a problem long term or if you take the shifter off often. You can get extras from them though. Great addition to the car!
