I bought the Check-In Medium suitcase in 2022 and have made numerous overseas trips with it. I've really enjoyed using it - it's lightweight but tough, easy to maneuver, and holds a lot! However, on my last trip (in June 2026), the airline must have really mistreated it because when I got home there was a 5-inch crack in the shell next to one of the wheels. The structure of the bag was still intact, but I needed to get that fixed/replaced! Remembering that the luggage included a lifetime warranty, I submitted a claim to Monos, only to discover that the warranty did NOT include airline damage. Additionally, I had purchased the bag using an email account I no longer have access to, so could not retrieve the order #. All I could find was the credit card receipt from my bank (which only showed the date of purchase and amount I paid). I contacted Monos, not very hopefully I must admit, but they went above and beyond to replace my suitcase! For a small fee I was able to retroactively purchase additional warranty coverage that included airline damage. I also purchased the additional coverage for the new, replacement bag they sent. They even let me purchase retroactive coverage for another suitcase I bought for my husband back in 2022 (which is still undamaged after multiple trips). I can't say enough about how pleased I was with their help and the quality of the suitcases. Thanks, Monos! By the way, the airline denied my claim for damage because I did not submit a claim within 6 hours (even though I did not receive the bag within 6 hrs of my flight landing - bag was not on my flight and came in later that day and delivered to my home).

Great luggage

The size of this piece is perfect for travel. Big enough for essentials without being too bulky. The wheels are especially durable and make the suitcase so easy to maneuver.

The Monos Medium Check-In Bag is absolutely Beautiful, Classy and appears to have solid/heavy Hardware! I did a lot of research before making my purchase and believe I made the right choice in travel luggage.
