Love these strong carabiners! I use one attached to my dog's harness and then create an extra loop with the leash around my dog's chest for better control and helping me balance. He understands when the leash is looped that he is to walk easy. When unlooped, he is free to explore more, and then I'll give him a cue to go ahead of me and pull for more leverage when going up hills. The biner doesn't accidentally become unhitched either!
