Real wood material?

We ordered the clock and Twist shelf in their black versions. We are very pleased with the delivery — the products matched their description perfectly, and they were carefully packaged and well protected for shipping. Once mounted on the wall, the result is impeccable. However, the matte black finish of the clock takes away from the natural wood appearance. It gives off a somewhat plastic look — an impression reinforced by the fact that, during installation, the nail on the wall scratched the back of the clock, revealing a white mark (where we expected to see the natural wood underneath the stain).

Received my clock. Very happy with it. Delighted it is silent and looks stunning on the wall with my black kitchen. It also arrived within a few days and well packed so no damage done

Not silent

Beautiful design, and seems well made. However, the ticking is not fully silent - it is quiet, but loud enough to be noticeable at night.
