The windshield is a must for the a roof rack system. Easy installation and sturdy mounting. It does help with noise and looks great!

Yakima Windshield/Fairing

This is a great product which made a notable difference in reducing the wind noise caused by my newly installed crossbars at highway speeds. Before installing this product, I had a high pitch whistling noise while on the highway. This is now gone and there is a mild ocean wave-like sound, which is much better. I highly recommend.

Tesla Wind Deflector

I have a Tesla Model Y and have roof racks on it. I hear whistling sounds before adding the Yakima Wind Fairing. With the wind fairing, I hardly hear any sounds from the roof.
