solid and easy to use
Solid, easy to use and adjust. I run a tie down strap through the holes which makes a nice sling for a plastic kayak. Then run the strap over the boat, under the cross bar and back over the boat and tighten. Gives very secure circumferential pressure on the hull, so no dents from the crossbars and solidly locked in.
