SAGE Payload Fly Rod

Great for Large heavy flies

After reviewing and casting many different rods, I went with the Payload. I bought this in 10wt primarily as my musky rod and probably a few salt water trips a year. I can say that the ability for this rod to pick up line with large flies and shoot it is incredible. I can easily pick up 15 -20ft of line and with one backcast shoot out a good 50 - 60 ft of line. So far I have no regrets on the purchase and will update to speak of the backbone of the rod when I hook up to a musky this fall.
