Tried many other acoustic guitar pick ups
I have tried Lr Baggs element, Fishman infinity, M80, palathetic(takamine), Elipsis blend. I have friend who own LR Baggs anthem and I was deciding between trinity and anthem. Trinity does a better job representing the guitars original sound and the mic/transducer is much better combo imo than mic/piezo. The only downside to trinity is that you have to use a balanced(stereo) cable coming out of the guitar, and you always have to carry the preamp that convert stereo to the regular mono cable.

My 3rd Trinity System
Had this installed on my 3rd guitar, a 2013 Collings OM2H guitar. Lots of people reviewed the sound of the pickup. Nobody mentioned that the Trinity system came with one of the best sounding microphones in a pickup system. With the blender, the sound of the microphone in itself alone was outstanding. It brought out the true character of my guitar. To my ears, I preferred it over the pickup. However, gain settings must set correctly in order to prevent feedback. Crystal clear highs, warm full body acoustic tone without the quacky sound of your typical piezo under saddle system.

SImply the Best
I already use a K &K Trinity system on a English made Manson Magpie OM guitar. When I added a 2006 Collings OM1 to my collection, there was no doubt that the K & K would be the pickup system for it. Finally had it installed by a qualified luthier. Led worship yesterday at church, and the guitar sounded everything as good, only plugged in. The K & K amplified the true dynamics, timbre, acoustics of this great guitar. The notes were stunning, there were no discoloration, distortion, quackiness, just pure acoustic bliss. I would be buying another one of these for another Collings OM2 guitar I recently purchased. My signal chain is Guitar to K & K blending preamp ==>acoustic amp=>Radial JDI DI BOX =>> soundboard
