Doghouse XP Archery Target

Heavy built, struggled with arrow removal

Was recommended the brand by my cousin who loves it. When it arrived, was surprised by how heavy it was. Feels like it is built well. The issue came after shooting 4 arrows with field points into it. Stopped them just fine. The removal is where it was difficult. Ripped one insert completely off the arrow. The rest I took a small pocket knife to make a slit down to the tip to work it out. Only after going in that night and searching on line did I see to try to twist. Shot another and tried that, and was still very difficult. Haven't used it again, and not sure if I will. A lot of money for something I'm worried to shoot because I'm going to lose an arrow. I have the Easton HIT collars and the match field points, so it sticks out just a little so guess that's what catches, even though they have the bevel on the back for removing arrows.

Unbelieveable !

I bought the plus series it’s the best target I’ve shot at. I have been in archery for over 30 years shot many different targets this is the easiest target to pull The arrows from I’ve seen. Stops the arrows no problem very clean target face I will buy another of it ever wears out which I think will be a very long time!

Quality target

Only shot on it a few times so far, but as advertised arrows some out easy and it has good stopping power.
