Cardboard Applicator Tampons

sustainable tampons that need adjustments

I love that the non-dyed cotton is better for my body, and the cardboard is better for the earth, as is the paper wrapper and card board boxes without glossy labels. I am concerned about the engineering of this tampon though. I'm an athlete and previously a tampax pearl wearer. I don't like how slippery the applicator is (needs work on its mechanism) and don't like how long the actual cotton shaft of the tampon is. Still purchasing for sustainability and health reasons, but would love the comfort and mechanism to be improved!

I have used Lola cardboard applicator tampons for over a year now ... and I love them! You do have to give the barrel a “twist” before inserting, so that it “unlocks” from the “tabs” that can cause it to be harder to insert if that’s not done. You’ll know what I’m talking about if you try them ... :) I don’t foresee going back to plastic tampons at all! Thank you, Lola!

I love knowing what is going inside my body and these all cotton tampons are wonderful. They do the job and I never have to worry about my supply Bc they show up at my door right when I need them 👍🏼
