I've been growing Muncher cucumbers for years and they are by far my favorite variety of cucumber for fresh eating. The plants can be a little finicky, but they're worth the effort. They have a sweet flavor and nice, crisp crunch to them. They're great to just pull off the vine and snack on while you're gardening, or to make fresh pickles, relish, or salad with. I did try pickling and canning them the first year I grew them. The pickles tasted awesome, but unfortunately their crunch just doesn't hold up to the heat of canning.
