The K&K Pure Mini is our best selling pickup, by quite a significant margin. Why? Simply put, it just sounds great. It’s easy to make it sound good on a variety of guitars, and installation is relatively painless—in fact, most of our customers do the installation themselves. Soundboard pickups always come with the usual caveats about

Great pickup for my needs
I've compared all the current pickups to the k&k in my guitars and the k&k never fails me. I use a baggs session & baggs eq to dial in the needs of the venue. I use fmi saddles and pins so I don't feel i am compromising sound with the standard ust. Now have K&K in all 4 of my dreds; Taylor 610 spring ltd, Taylor DN custom Adirondack top/Madagascar B/S, Gibson southern jumbo and my custom David Webber dred.

Authentic
I have K&K pickups in all of the acoustic guitars that I perform with. Most recently I put a Pure Mini in a vintage Martin 0-16ny and it really brings out the sonic qualities of the small bodied guitar. I've averaged about two gigs a week for the last 10+ yrs. and the K&K pickups have never failed me and they always sound good. For what it's worth, I've found that using a K&K Pure Preamp combined with an Acoustic Image Coda amp is a match made in heaven.
