wanted a derby shoe for less formal occaisions, and weekend outings, but not a plain Derby style, these fit the bill perfectly, so chuffed with them that im gonna order same shoe in the chocolate suede.

Great daily shoe for the office

Very comfortable, surprisingly heavy, but once I started using them the weight actually made it feel better... it's hard to describe but the weight makes them feel more substantial. They are slightly larger than expected -- I also purchased a pair of Irvine Derbies with the same size and those fit perfect, but with slightly thicker socks they fit perfect, which turns out fantastic because I wear them with chinos and khakis to the office

The wait turned out to be worth it.
