They are....OK. They work for smaller places or smaller crowds. We tried using them in a larger outdoor space and the started sounding like a distorted bullhorn. Wish they were a clearer and a bit louder. in larger spaces like anything out door or a larger area bigger that are larger then 500 sqft, you will want a PA.
