I find i do need to "lather, rince, repeat" as the first lather doesn’t feel like its done what it should. Second lather is much better. That said, "lather" is not an indication that it is or isn’t doing what it should... this is just my preference AND I find the same with most natural/organic shampoos. In any case, my hair is sooooo soft!! 1 lather or 2 I think this is a great shampoo and will buy again.
