Love Product, Poor Fulfilment at Peak

The product and the brand is great, more than happy with it. Shipping did crumble over Christmas with pretty poor communication over expected delays. After waiting a week for shipping confirmation, I sent an email to customer care which I then received an automated email saying they were experiencing a two week delay and to not chase customer care for any parcels ordered within the last week because of this. Kind of useless as I never heard about the expected delay or to not chase them until I chased them. I’m sure it was just business over the season but I do think comms could’ve been much better, even maybe notification when you are about to buy the order as it was a Christmas present and was running the risk of not getting delivered until the new year, but also I cannot understand how there can be that much of a delay for picking and packing an order.
