I bought this maintenance kit to replace what I thought was a missing silicone seal from one of my Klean Kanteen caps. Turns out the seal was in there but maybe because it was an older one it didn’t have the little “pull” tab on it, so I thought it had fallen out. Anyway I still used the tool to pull the old seal and I cleaned it up and re-installed it- still works great! So didn’t need to try a new seal yet, but the tool in the kit does the job and when I do need to change out a seal, I’ll have two ready.

Wide Cap Maintenance Kit
Klean Kanteen is to be commended for their long term consideration of their products. Having a maintenance kit for the lid of a coffee container… who would have thunk! The kit itself is perfect, down to the finest engineering detail of the gasket removal tool. Full marks!
