My favourite way to get "back in black"

Transylvania is my favourite semi permanent black for whenever I inevitably go back to my black hair phase or to darken up another colour. I find that as it fades it does tend to fade more green on my hair but that's just the nature of semi-permanent, it's got to have a base of some colour. I love being able to dye my hair black without all the chemicals that tend to be in other black dyes and for me, the results are exactly what I want! I hear a lot of criticism of Transylvania regarding it's lasting ability but that's not something that I've ever found with this dye.

Cherry Cola-ish result

I only use it mixed in ritual and gives a gorgeous deep purple cherry cola-ish result! Looks so good and finally can get exactly the colour I want although it looks very purple the first time, after a couple of washes it settles down!

Color Me Surprised

I was very happy with how it turned out. I started out with my natural very dark brown, almost black hair, with some blonde highlights I did myself. I used Transylvania and Wrath. The color took much better than I was expecting it to and now that it’s been a couple of weeks my hair has faded into this really cool looking greenish hued gray where I put Transylvania and a pinky rose where I put Wrath. I love it and can’t wait to use it again.
