It does the job when you need it.
Depending on the ambient temperature, you get up to an hour or two with these. When its really hot, it wont last as long, but should be enough until you can get some ice, get home or to an emergency department. It is handy to have a couple of these in your kit on top of the one that is included in your first aid kit.
Who knows, it might help cool your beers if you forgot to put an ice pack in ur esky.
