Poor Man's "Obsession Lite" Style Game at a Good Price
The only problem with the game is there should have been a 4th status points card for "Wealth". There's 3+ point cards for who has more servants, gossiped the most, had more generations.
I'll just print the same style card. Whoever has more gold get's 3+ points. That adds a new strategy, way of winning the game.
Another missed opportunity was not having an event deck with good fortune and tragedy cards. You inherit money, lose money, the family patriarch dies, etc...Would have added another real world dimension to the game, but increased retail price.
"Obsession" looks like a great game, but way too complicated to be fun for my gaming group.
